Renaud has a dual experience combining operational management and finance experience:

  • 10 years as CEO of SMEs with strong international development track record in 15 countries;

  • 12 years in Private Equity investments, M&A, financial audit.

In May 2018, Ceres raised 52m€ equity to invest and help develop Biotech Dental Group – cf case study

In Q1 2018, Renaud decided to focus solely on developing Ceres Industries’ investment activities.

Between Q2 2016 and Jan 2018, Renaud created and led Helios’ PE investments business. Helios closed 5 investments (Isabel Marant, Tailor Brands, ProoV, Appsflyer and 4iQ)  - Germany, France, Israel, US.

Previously, CFO / Business Development / acting as COO at Data4, a French PE backed data centres operator (€24m EBITDA), Renaud led a €150m leveraged recap to create and develop a new data centres campus in Italy

Previously, CEO and minority shareholder (via Ceres Industries) of Exeol Group (chemical products - healthcare and automotive applications) for 8 years. Initiated and led Management Buy In and secondary MBO.

Renaud led the acquisition of Acia out of bankruptcy and subsequent turnaround and the acquisition of Alkapharm (medical devices and technical consumables for dentists, prothesis labs and hospitals) and international development in 15 countries. Under Renaud’s tenure, Exeol Group (4 plants, 200 people) sales increased from €39m to €65m thanks to innovative products/services and international development.
